Companies don’t do you a favor, ever. It’s an agreement. They give you money, you your time and knowledge. If they ask you for overtime because ‘you have to pitch in’, kindly ask them to eat it on their knees. Do not hesitate to communicate to colleagues who work overtime for free that they are pathetic, miserable beings, and not worthy of any consideration.
